“Look mommy!” a Kindergartener exclaims as Ronald McDonald bursts through cafeteria doors. On the last Tuesday night of September, the kind-hearted mascot dropped by Mildred Harris Elementary to show some ways community involvement is beneficial in a school setting. Students’ families and teachers alike all participated in activities brought by Ronald himself. “It’s probably one of the things we look forward to the most,” said a 1st grade parent, “My daughter always tells me that we have to go to the PTO meeting, ‘The games! The games’ she always says.”
Ronald stuck around for some pictures with school staff and families and expressed his excitement for the opportunity to bring joy to the children. “Ronald will always be a delight for the kids and we enjoy his company every time he shows up!” concluded Ms. Chaisson. Be sure to go arrive at our next event on October 29th, “Trunk or Treat”. Look below for more pictures!
